Yee Ha! :or, Also Back on the Wagon

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I've actually been doing pretty well with working out, just not so well with posting. :) And I haven't been posting, because I don't really have any results to post. I've been consistently working out for 3 weeks, and there's been no change. Not to my weight, my inches, anything. And before this, that would have completely depressed me and made me give up at the end of the month (which has happened so many times before), but this time it won't.

You see, I talked to a friend of mine who is a personal trainer, and explained my dilemma. That I'm doing 30+ minutes of hard cardio at least 3 days a week, and interval training (thanks to evil Jillian) the other 3, and how long do I need to do that before I see a change?

Her answer?

3 months.

3 months? I always give up after 1. I'm so used to hearing about people starting a plan and seeing instant results that I forgot that some things take time sometimes. So I'm sticking with watching what I'm eating, making sure I'm eating enough and that my body has the nutrients it needs, and working out 6 days a week. And we'll see what happens in 3 months.

But I promise I'll post again before then.

(I have DVDs to review, you know.)

Maryanne, you look A-mazing. Try to think that it's for your health not to lose inches. I know how painful that is though (BOY, oh BOY do I KNOW).
