Ok, now that we have some smarter readers reading this blog (not that any of you are dumb, but... well, you know)... I have a question for you.
How come, when I have a REALLY hard workout I don't lose weight. Yesterday I was inspired ala the Biggest Loser and I really worked out hard. Jenny didn't kill me, but she came close. So I was hoping for some good results on the ol' scale today. I also followed the points to a T. So, what when wrong? Should I not aim for workouts that are going to make me sore. I mean, I used to get sore a lot when I was just starting to workout, but now it's fairly rare...
Anyway, thoughts?
Am I going to be fat forever? Perhaps....

Question of the Week: Breakfast
I thought we'd go through different foods and just see what you think is the best choice.
So, let's start at the very beginning, BREAKFAST.
So, I've kind of transformed my breakfasts as of late. I've never been a breakfast fan. I'm not usually really hungry and a large meal never sounds that delicious.
So, on days that I workout I try to have some egg and avocado. On the days I don't workout I've been having 1/2 c of dry oatmeal with boiling water (I've been using quick oats, is that worse for you than regular oats?) with a tiny bit of milk powder mixed in (I'm thinking it's a little extra protein, am I right there?) 1 T of brown sugar and a few berries. It's delicious. I used to eat oatmeal packets, but I'd be STARVING by like 10 am. Now I'm not hungry at all, and I think it tastes pretty good. I used to eat my oatmeal with stevia but it had a weird nasty side taste, so the 1 point for the brown sugar is totally worth it for me.
In other news, this week I'm trying to not use any activity points. I've been OBSESSED with food lately, it's no good. How many points, blah, blah, blah... I'm not really even hungry but I'm just eating. Nothing I'm proud of but this week it's no extra food for me. We'll see how the weight loss does. I'd like to be 164 by Saturday. Pipe dream? Probably.
What do you have for breakfast? What do you think is the best option/s?

Question of the Week
How do you use exercise?
I'm really torn. In weight watchers you get "activity points" but they're kind of vague as to if you should use them or not. I am a hard worker-outer. I'm usually earning over 20 activity points/week. I'm not just taking a small walk here. I'm sweatin' to the oldies. :)
So, I don't think I should use ALL of those points, that doesn't seem smart. BUT, I also feel like I never want my body to feel like it is starving, ESPECIALLY after a workout.
But, would I lose better if I didn't do that?
Do you eat more after you exercise? Tell me more.
