Well, the tailbone pain is increasing. I'm super happy about that and from what I read on the internet, it's normal for, as you lose weight, for the pain to increase. BUT, the pelvic floor stuff isn't really doing it so it's time to add some yoga.

This week, my friend
Maryanne let me borrow one of
her yoga DVD's
(I get the feeling she loves her yoga... I guess someone has to). WOW. This thing really got me into stretching. I guess the Kundalini Yoga method encorporates breathing a bit more heavily than the regular yoga I'm used to (which also talks a lot about breathing). This one also was a lot about stretching (as it says on the cover). But, with the breathing encorporated I was really pleased with how flexible I felt after the routine was done. I also wanted to vomit and faint. Good stuff. :) I did send a hint email to Drew asking him to buy me a couple from this series as Yoga is something I want to add to my weekly routine (probably one day of Kundalini and one day of the regular one with the regular poses, which has an equally un-rememberable name as Kundalini). I'll let you know how it goes. I will say this video is not for the faint of heart. At one point my boobs touched my knees and I don't know how long it's been since that happened.

Today I did
Jillian's Shred DVD.
I think I've already talked about it but I want to keep doing workout du jour just to say how I'm progressing. I will admit when I started this DVD on level one I was planning on buying my own coffin after I finished the workout (I bought this DVD right after P was born, so it's been about a year). I don't
like this DVD though. There is nothing about it that I find enjoyable it's hard it's quick and then you're done (it takes almost 30 minutes to do the whole workout, and I am annoyed by the fact that you have to listen to Jillian's schpeil before you can actually do the workout). I do like how there's 2 levels and she actually does do some stretching after the workout, which I appreciate, although I wish it was longer (I would love a hard cardio DVD that does some good yoga for 10 minutes after the routine -- I realize I could do this myself but then I'd have to change DVD's or channels and wow... it's 6:15 am, who wants to do all that when you're already ready to die). I did level 2 today, and my heart rate got up to about 190. On Lindsay I find it up to about 220... which is odd because I felt worse today. I think the exercises are just so awful I do stop and take breathers a bit more often with this one. I do limit those to 5 seconds but really. For a 180'ish pound 5 foot 6 girl I think I'm doing OK. I was just planning the program for my funeral, instead of actually getting the coffin today.
Hope your workouts are going great too! I'd love some DVD ideas on your own blogs (or post them here!).

You got your heart rate up to 220? I don't think I could do that without passing out.
