Weekly Weigh-In

EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale w/ Extra Large Backlit 3.5" Display and "Step-On" TechnologyI was pretty disappointed last week.  I was counting points like a Nazi.  It was taking a lot of time, energy and thought.  The new program isn't THAT dis-similar to the last one but I still feel like I really need to COUNT while I have the etools, just so I'll be well enough educated to do it my own after my one month is over (I don't plan on getting the etools subscription after my 1 month is over, the total cost was 39.99 and I Also bought a calculator for 6 bucks -- although, after the end of January the calculators will be 12 dollars!).  It was nice to get into the groove and I sure do feel better and it's amazing how your bowels sure love weight watchers.  That's all I will say about that.  However, since I weigh in daily I wasn't seeing decreases, I seemed to just stay at like 170 all week, til' like Thursday when I started to decrease.  Phewsh!  It is kind of hard to trust the new program when the other one was working for you...

SO, to the weigh in, I was down 2.2 pounds from my own weigh in, and down 3 pounds from my weight watchers weigh in.  I wasn't able to go to the meeting (work) so I just weighed at home this week (which, obviously, is how I will be weighing in the rest of the month).  I am actually down to my low of 166.  Yay!  That means I was able to lose all of my holiday weight in that week.

If I'm wanting to make a goal, which I'm not sure that I am.  I'd REALLY like to be down to 140 by the time school is out.  My Libra app on my phone says that if I continue to lose at the rate that I've lost in the last month I'll be down to 136 (Which they say should be my target weight) by July 12 (which just happens to be someone's birthday around here... not mine... but I could just say it's taken 11 years to get my baby weight off).  Anyway, being to 140 by early June is my hope.  However, I realize that losing weight is a process that can't be pinned down by time.  Getting sick, or extra stressors in your life can prolong it.

Anyway, just gonna keep counting.  My plan is to count points throughout the period that I have etools (til' Februrary 8th) and then I will plan to count during the first week of each month.

How was your weekly weigh-in?

This is inspiring me. Thanks, Hil. You can do it, I can do it. Sometimes it feels like I'll never hit my goals and it makes me wanna slack off. So, I'll read this post when I need a reminder of can-do-it-ness.
