Moutainous Ranges

I'm not going to say that this whole weight loss thing has been easy.  But it HAS happened.

But now, I'm stuck.

I can't leave the 165'ish area.

At all.  I'd just call myself done except my BMI is still overweight and I just am not ready to call this "it"... but maybe it is?  I mean, that's not cool, right?

I'm adding high protein stuff and staying within my points, I am mixing up the diet, not eating carbs at night and I am not losing a red pound!  Not even a white one, or a brown one, or a beige one.

So, what do you do when you hit a plateau.  I'm stuck.  I don't know what to do.  Do I just give it time?  Do I only eat 500 calories?  Do I scream?

I've added running to mix-up the workouts, I'm still doing weights plus cardio and well... screaming is sounding like a nice workout at this point.

Thoughts?

HI!!!! I found you while perusing the MMB post of the week and so glad I did! I am on a constant weight loss journey and totally feel your pain! The one thing I always hear EVERYONE say (which means I'm sure you've heard it too....but I'm gonna write it anyway hahaha) is that plateaus happen and as along as you mix things up a little bit, the plateau will pass. I have one friend who's nutritionist told her to eat 100 more calories one day, then the second day eat 200 more calories then the third day eat 300 more calories then on the fourth day go back to your original thing, she says it works for her......

anyways, glad I found you!
