Carbs

I, for the first time ever, am considering a carb fast. Good idea? I just hink I need to find some self control. And, that is all. :)

Thoughts?

Not a good idea. Your body needs carbohydrates just like it needs fats, proteins, etc. However, there are better carbohydrates than others and better times to eat them and that is what I would focus on. Try to eat better carbs and don't eat any after lunchtime. That gives your body the energy it needs from carbs but allows time to burn it off. For example, I do not eat any carbs after 4:00.

Let us remember that fruits and veggies are, in fact, carbs. So going on a carb fast of all other carbs is fine. Since I have gone gluten free, I have also eliminated most carbs from my diet besides fruits and vegetables. I feel much better, and I don't think it's just because of the gluten, either.
