Weekend Update

Down like .4 -- if that. 

I didn't expect much since the whole finger incident n' all.  Plus, I had to have a uterine biopsy -- no big deal but still, bodies don't like to be wounded.

I didn't expect much... but I did Your Shape all week.  I almost wanted to egg her by the end.  I think I'm just going to focus on 45-60 minute workouts 3 times/week along with some fun cardio twice a week and see how we go from there. 

Do you think there's a disorder where you don't build muscle?  I think I have the slowest metabolism ever and I don't see it getting any better.

Anti-musclemia, that's what I have. :)

I am sure there is a disorder where you don't build muscle, but I'm sure you don't have it. You are doing so well keeping on top of things so I am sure it is frustrating if it feels like you are not building muscle.
Just based on what you have blogged, I would guess that you aren't getting enough calories to support your activity level. You said you weren't using your activity points (I don't know the WW system, but I am inferring that you get extra points when you work out) Your metabolism will drop and your body will plunder muscle for fuel if you aren't eating enough. sufficient protein is also important. Are you using weights at all? Lifting to exhaustion (either light weight many reps or heavier weight fewer reps) is great for building muscle. You are so inspiring with how hard you work and stay with it - keep trying new things and hopefully you will find something that works.
