Once again, at the beginning I thought maybe it was too easy but as we progressed into it (it was about 50-55 minutes long) I really worked up a sweat. She did some great stuff with weights.
I do this show often, but I mention it because you can pull up their workouts any time from BYU TV, you don't have to DVR it (on that page that I linked the episodes are right there... how easy is that?).
- They have 3 levels all the time, so depending on your level of fitness or energy you're always going to be OK.
- Deni is really positive (and my BFF's mom, imagine that) and gets you through it. She's totally the opposite of Jillian, but I think each one has their place.
- There are pregnant women doing the routines (not all the time, but often) and this is a great idea to do to understand what you can/can't do while pregnant.
- The clothes are really modest. To some this might be a downside. While I do admire some people's 6 pack, sometimes it just creeps me out.
I'm trying to do Yoga one day, a dance-type workout (probably followed by a bit of weights) one day and an aerobics/weights workout another day... and on the off days (except Sundays) do something fun. I went walking with a friend on Tuesday. My favorite kind of workout.
I forgot to mention that working out is my main hope during the holiday season. It's something I can do and I find that I enjoy it (most of the time). I hope the build so much muscle I can eat whatever I want. (yeah, right).
